The rhythm of English is really important!
Natural speech moves too fast to focus on individual words. Rhythm is the element that organizes words into consistent and familiar patterns of syllable stress, phrasing and intonation that help us catch the meaning.
Learning the rhythm patterns of English is essential to making your speech easy to understand, and will improve your listening comprehension significantly.
Unlike the physical awareness and control necessary to pronounce vowels and consonants well, rhythm is the easiest element of pronunciation to master, and it's fun to learn! In this workshop we will cover the essential principles of rhythm and you will get to try them yourself. Are you ready to sound better in English?
"No regular English teacher could have pointed out to me what is missing to make my English sound like real American-English. Josh made me realize just a minor change can result in tremendous improvement. Thank you!!"
